GIVING
Kurukulla Center’s mission is to help others through offering pure Buddhist teachings and activities in a setting which nurtures participants’ spiritual growth and development. The Center is a self-sustaining, non-profit organization and as such, relies entirely on donations and membership support for our existence.
During these difficult times of Covid-19 crisis, through the kindness of your support we didn’t miss a beat in moving the entire program online – practically overnight – and our entire community continued to “visit” the Center to learn and study the Dharma.
We are very fortunate to have had a permanent home for Kurukulla Center in Medford since June 2001, we are happy to announce we have paid off the mortgage. Of all the years, we did it in 2020! Thanks to you!
Every single dollar we received counted, and made the difference to fulfill the advice of late Geshe Tsulga-la: to secure a home for the Dharma for generations to come.
Our monthly operating expenses include items such as insurance, utilities, resident teacher support and administrative expenses. Sustaining monthly giving, provide Kurukulla Center with regular and dependable income, allowing us to budget and plan more effectively to provide the greatest benefit.
Kurukulla Center is a tax exempt not-for-profit corporation under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All of your contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Also, please check with your employer to see if they have a matching gift program so that your contribution can be matched.
